Our vision is to make the world a kinder, fairer and more inclusive place.
We will achieve this by bringing together a network of experts from all sectors, including business, government and other non-profits/charities, to solve issues and facilitate positive social change, and by co-creating and driving the delivery of projects that benefit disadvantaged or deserving people – ones that contribute to society through their work and/or personal activities (in particular key workers such as teachers and nurses are included within this).
Our initiatives aim to deliver KINDNESS at three different levels – kindness to yourself, to others or to the planet – and where possible at more than one of these levels.
Given we are at the early part of our journey as a non-profit, we are currently focusing on initiatives that are local within Sussex. The plan is to learn as we go, with a view to rolling out relevant initiatives on a wider basis – nationally or even internationally if there is demand and a willing supply chain.
In doing this, our objectives are to:
- Help the vulnerable and disadvantaged people within society to feel listened to, supported and included within society
- Drive progress with tackling key issues across society that are not currently being addressed due to lack of funds and/or a facilitator
- Increase the proportion of businesses and high-net worth individuals who are doing ‘their bit’ for society.
And in turn, we are hoping that this will lead to:
- Increased wellbeing across both donors and beneficiaries
- Increased awareness and engagement with the third sector as a whole
- …. and that we inspire more people/groups within society to carry out acts of kindness for those in need.
